The Design Museum
The Design Museum is a next to the River Thames close to the Tower Bridge in central London. It was established in 1989 and claims to be the 1st museum of modern design. The Design Museum is the world’s greatest museum dedicated to modern design in all forms from furniture to artwork, and architecture to industrial design. Exhibitions present both the richness of the creativeness to be found in all forms of design, and its importance.
In 2007 the Times newspaper listed the museum as number 2 in UK’s top five museums of the year.
