National Gallery
The National Gallery in London, located on Trafalgar Square, was established in 1824 and keeps a large collection of over 2,300 paintings dating back the mid-13th century to 1900. You will love seeing work by Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Botticelli, Turner, Gainsborough, Cezanne, Renoir. There are special lectures, exhibitions, guided tours, holiday events, video and audio-visual programmes for children and adults.
Its collection belongs to the public of the UK and entry to the main collection (though not some particular exhibitions) is for free.
